Alrite we all hate posh, snooty, good for nothing upper class snobs - dont we? yes..course we do - so why not kidnap a few, bundle them into the back of a van - ( strip them of there phone, wallet and shoes) drive them into the middle of some sort of estate (projects) in the hood an ( while secretly filming them ) let them loose and see who makes it back to suburbs first

My grandma has this pair of shoes...?
they're called Chicory Sport Ammie's and she used to buy them at her local Meijer. They're cheap with plastic soles and a canvas upper that in her case is white in color. anyway, she wants to buy more of them because she has foot ailments and they are the only thing she's found that feel good on her feet. I surfed the net for her trying to find them but i found nothing. Anyone know where she can get them???
My grandma has this pair of shoes...?
If she cant find them i am sure she would be very happy with crocs or a less expensive verison from payless. All the nurses and doctors wear them in our area. My husband loves them for his diabetic feet.

Fitflops by B&BW?
So, some of my neighbors have they shoes. They look so awesome and I want a pair. Do they actually tone your legs? What do you think about them? Do they tone your upper thigh muscles too? And while I am not in dance for our short-medium length summer break do you think that they would keep my legs in shape until it starts up again?

PLEASE READ AND tell the truth?
Our discussions of the relationships between laws, community standards, moral attitudes, and codes of ethics reveal a continuum where each concept underpins the other, and where the punishment for misuse varies according to the level of promulgation. Perhaps in some ways we can also see a progression or movement of guidelines where the community comes to believe that generally accepted standards need to have "teeth" added to their expectations so as to improve enforcement. Within each category of guideline there is a degree of tolerance that blurs the edges between what is right and what is wrong, and which encourage the boundaries to move.
The United States of America was founded on the basis of the tolerance of religion, being populated in some part by those refugees from Europe who were not prepared to conform to the rigid, formal expectations of worship and catechism of the denominations of the Roman Catholic Church and Church of England. While the puritans themselves displayed certain lack of tolerance in dealing with their peers, the founding fathers built into the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights elements that establish tolerance as one of the major tenets of life in this country. The concepts of "innocent until found guilty", "giving the benefit of doubt", and the acceptance of evidence to establish guilt "beyond reasonable doubt", provide gray areas in application of law that have a profound effect on our way of life.
As contrasted with some other religions, the major religion of the United States preaches forgiveness, and provides the beatitude that when "struck on the cheek, turn the other cheek". Tolerance is a form of forgiveness where we attempt to put ourselves into the perpetrator's shoes. If we strayed that far over the line of lawfulness, would we not want to be forgiven?
Tolerance, according to my MS Word supplied thesaurus has equivalencies in open-mindedness, impartiality, liberality, allowance, variation, magnanimity, and lenity. Tolerance is a part of our lives in many of our daily living experiences. While there are community standards for our activities, we apply tolerance in our dealings with others daily. Two communicating people are rarely so alike that there are not things that we tolerate so that we can live together -- within certain limits. We tolerate that our friends and associates do not have the same accent or dialect as ourselves, that their eating habits -- both in the manner of eating and the things we eat -- are different, and that our beliefs differ. If we could only base friendship on the commonalty of some metrics of our daily activities, then we might find ourselves with a very small number of friends and colleagues. Even in marriage there is tolerance for the time spent in the bathroom or on the telephone, for the different ways of doing things. Tolerance is the realization that simply because something is different, does not mean that it is wrong. The emerging philosophy that we need to learn to live in a diverse society will only come to fruition if we are tolerant. But have far does our tolerance have to stretch? Are there limits beyond which we can go no further? Do these limits change with time and with changes in our environment?
Our Expectations of Tolerance
Consider a few cases where tolerance has an impact on the way in which we view both the law and act. An examination of automobile speed limits throughout the world reveals that there are three major zones of speed, that might well be classified as "slow" (commonly used for urban areas), "moderate" (for rural areas), and "fast" (for the well designed highway or autobahn). The discriminating speed limits approximate 30 mph and 60 mph in most countries. Why then are the speed limits in the USA set at 25 mph and 55 mph? Every driver believes that there is a tolerance in measuring speeds so that they will not be pulled over for exceeding the speed limit by 5 mph, since there is a question of the accuracy of radar units or the ability of a police officer to precisely judge a driver's speed by following behind. Thus though our official speed limits are 5 mph less than those enforced in other countries where there is not a strong belief in giving the accused the "benefit of the doubt". In 1995-1996 the upper speed limit in the US has been changed twice -- once to 65 mph and then to a speed at the discretion of the local (state) authorities. The first move was the acceptance of the realization that most drivers were already driving in excess of the limits, and thus the move to 65 mph was an acceptance of reality. The later move was a change to allow community standards to prevail and to tolerate variations in opinion of "safe speeds". Until the mid-1960s road intersections in the United Kingdom were primarily controlled by a "STOP" sign, the "YIELD" being generally used where two highways merged. Until that time the British policeman rigorously enforced the requirement to come to a complete STOP in an intersection. The lack of respect for the STOP sign and the general motorist's use of a "rolling STOP", combined with the need for the law enforcement personnel to attend to more important problems, eventually forced the government to replace the majority of STOP signs with YIELD signs. The widespread disregard for the law could have overwhelmed the courts if the law were to be enforced rigorously. In both cases practice, dissatisfaction with the law, and tolerance of action led to the change in the law.
Another common example of our tolerance is the littering law. As we travel down our roads we see signs that say "NO LITTERING, Maximum fine $200". We rarely hear of anyone actually prosecuted for littering, except where the case is flagrant -- such as dumping household garbage, or allowing garbage to blow off the back of a pick-up truck. We tend to be a little bit better in environments where we are present on a regular basis, or where there are others to see us. This is generally the areas where we walk, perhaps from the parking lot to our office -- with one exception -- the disposal of cigarette buts! Obviously we are much more tolerant of these tiny pieces of flotsam than we are of other discarded articles. Is size a factor in our tolerance?

Dude, you rumbled on like 20 pages front and back!
You must consider the people around you. Once you go talking, there's no chance for them to leave. You are the kind of person whom holding another person's hand while you were talking.
Cut yourself a slack. Ease up! life is much more beautiful if you take it a little easier.
Reply:Wow, I can't believe I actually just read that...what has my life become? I guess size does matter when it comes to tolerance, cause that was toooooooooo long for me! Report It
Reply:To easily sum it up, it depends on how bad you f--ked up as to whether someone forgives you or not.
Reply:wow! do you think some one will read this????
I just have a headache. ...
Reply:Well said . . . but it should be in a blog instead of here . . . may I post it in my blog?
Basically, there is no tolerance anymore . . . with people busting heads . . . with their narrow religious viewpoint . . . and the vanity of these people. Gays should not be allowed to get married . . . but you can divorce a guy for have bad breath. It is a double standard . . . which everyone lives by.
People are prejudice against people because of skin color, heritage, habits, etc. But biblically speaking, we are all related and should accept one another . . . .
I love your analogy regarding laws, especially traffic laws. California . . . the redefiners of the Stop sign . . . creating the California Rolling Stop. People do it around the world . . . and it is illegal around the world including California. Hell, you can get a speeding ticket for going just 1 mile over the speed limit . . . like if the speed limit is 35 mph and you are going 36 mph . . . you can get a ticket. They had a couple of people in traffic school . . . who got ticketed going 3 mph over the speed limits.
Enforcers of these laws have to make judgement calls daily . . . sometimes they call it right . . . sometimes they ignore it. Me . . . if they break the law . . . enforce it . . . do not ignore it . . . what are we paying for if you ignore it.
Reply:First off I will point out that I try not to read the other answers before I give mine so I may remain unbaised in my opinion on the subject at hand. With that said there are many, and I do mean many degrees of tolerance as there words to describe it. To have a truly free society, it is imperative to have a tolerant behavior where many cultures and religions come together to form this country as our forefathers had come to realize. The problems associated with a tolerant society are discrimination from the majority relgion or culture to the minority. It has happened even after our government was established with slavery because of differing colors of skin, or the shape of eyes, or the culture in which one was raised. English society was once thought to be the polite society and yet they had such an underlying cruel and dark part in their history. Still, we have come so far in having that equalized society that the founders of our nation dreamed of. I believe we can obtain that goal to a certain extent before religion once again causes a gap or a divide in society. I'm anti-religion. My concern is only my faith in God.
As far as speed signs or cigarrette butts, there really isn't much we can do about it. People will be reckless and slobbish. Fines are only effective if the person is caught. Thankfully though, there are less ppl smoking today because of known health risks involved with lighting up. Less ppl are littering due to recycling laws. However there is a lack of strictness with speeding laws depending on where you live. Where I live, it isn't so much a problem with speeding as it is a problem with people driving unsafe. Turn signals aren't used, people pull out into the wrong lane, and another number of horrors happen on the road. I've had a number of near misses but thankfully I didn't learn to drive in the state I live in. I respect others on the roadway and I do hope they respect me as well. I believe it's the lack of respect for others on the roadway that causes the majority of accidents as well as driving unsafely. Bad habits are always bound to happen because as humans we are lazy! We are always looking for a way to make our world easier to live and work in.
This is about as honest as I can get. I hope this opinion is acceptable.
Reply:Size can be a factor, but it is more in the terms of size of issue than physical size. When we rate a tolerance it is based upon how much do we personally find acceptable. Those little cigarette butts are hard to notice compared to cardboard box. When we see it in our minds and see millions of them, the butts are still small. However, when we have kids and look at the same situation we see those butts as more than just an issue of size and our tolerance becomes less. So in looking at tolerance it is more about the size of the picture we form in developing our acceptance than the physical size of what we tolerate.

Reply:one has to be tolerant of certain things or ideas..some are just accepted because they are minor problem others need to be considered a rule to follow so it will not be done continuously to cause harm
Reply:O.K f##kin dokey, you talk about talerance and how far our tolerances reach, personally I think our tolerances reach to the point where someones actions infringe upon our daily lives. Say for instance the fag end which was thrown on the ground, I wouldnt give a f##k about this, but if the person flicked it and it hit me, then hell yeah Ive got a fu###ng problem with that. The same goes with your driving speed limits, did you get a speeding ticket, is that what all that sh#te you wrote above was about?, because some f##k changed the limit and you had to pay the fine.
Basically people are driven by self interest, so if its in your interest to tolerate something, then you shall. The job of the governments(at least the ones in the free world), is to ensure the interests of the people who inhabit there nation, or at least keeping us quiet enough through indulging our wants while screwing us over and filling there pockets to the brim(THROUGH SELF INTEREST),I strayed from the point there, aye so theres singular interest(relating to the person and there wants), and theres universal interest(relating to the nation), and the tolerances you talk about depend upon these interests. Why do you think democracy is the only thing that works, because we need to hinder the people at the top from fullfilling there self interest at the expence of everyone else, throutgh elections and votes. History has proven this time and time again, so in all self interest defines the limit of tolerance, and the greater the gain of the tolerant person, then the greater there tolerance will be. I should also have said you have tolerance for the interest of the people you love, and some people love everyone, humanitarians and the likes, but in general we're in it for ourselves, our families and our close friends.

This is generally the areas where we walk, perhaps from the parking lot to our office -- with one exception -- the disposal of cigarette buts! Obviously we are much more tolerant of these tiny pieces of flotsam than we are of other discarded articles. Is size a factor in our tolerance?
PLEASE READ AND tell the truth?
Reply:No one will read your question........ huh
Reply:I'm sorry... this is too long for anyone online to read (short attention span - so many things to do, so little time) From your last line : "Is size a factor in our tolerance?" well, size is a factor in whether or not people read the questions. You may get a better response if you post this on an appropriate message board, where people are willing to *discuss*

Reply:Interesting, but not worthy of the wordy volume. Learn how to deliver your message in a succinct manner. Nevertheless, I am certain that at least you are impressed. The answer is the same as the question. Theoretical and actual fall between ambiguity, where size is a relative moving target. Where size matters is in ones manhood and even there some tolerate things as small as a cigarette butt.
Reply:Yes size is a factor in our tolerance.
For the record; I've been smoking for twentyfive years, I never thrown my cigarette butts on the ground or out of the window of a car.

Reply:they are all right ...
tolerance doesn't have levels- it just means that i don't tolerate your little discussion. Go to chat or discuss forum you'll get much better response, we have a life...

Keep it simple. Add some accessories and you're good to go!
You're on the right track but the pattern of that top is horrid. how about a simpler top that enhances your cute petite body. Don't get anything that makes you look like you're floating in a balloon.

Formal clothing?? Girls only plz help!!!?
if u have a suit, with a blazer... wear your hair down and straight if u can... nice, dress, low heels are best
black and white always works
tan is good too
u can also just wear a nice blouse and dress pants... like pinstripes
this is good to have cuz when u turn 14 or somewhere around there u can probably get a job where ur at and this is a good outfit to wear to an interview
Reply:Ok. I would go with a skirt (knee or a bit below) and a blouse. By blouse I mean a button down shirt with short sleeves. I would wear pumps (high heeled shoes). As for hair, if it looks good down and straight, go with that. Curly or in a pony tail is too casual. Oh and the skirt should either be black, brown, or khaki colored. Good luck! Sounds like a great opportunity!
Reply:You can wear a nice skirt, maybe navy blue, black, or gray and pair it up with some cute little shoes and wear a white button up blouse. Guys dont really have much of a variety when it comes to clothes, but us females do! You can wear whatever makes you comfortable as long as it looks professional and neat.
Reply:Wear a cute summer dress with flats, and curl your hair. It will give off the 'sweet, inncent and charming' look.
Or you could opt for a more cocktail style dress with low heels and you hair straightened. It will seem more proffesional.
Don't wear heavy make-up, or anything low cut. Now is not the time to look slutty.
Good luck ! :)
Reply:Wear pants, not jeans but trousers and a nice shirt.if u have a blazer jacket try that over it,wear boots but nothing too high or fancy.keep make up to a minimum and have hair tidy, either tied up nice or down tidy...best of luck!!!!!!!
Reply:hmmm.....what i would do is wear a nice knee legnth skirt ( i know, out of style, but it'll still look good!), a sweater and put your hair down and do something special with it. Like straigten in or curl it, whichever you don't normally do. =) Good Luck!
Reply:A skirt preferibly below the knees and a soft blouse. The kind of clothes you would wear if you go to church or to a fancy party with your parents. If your hair is long half up and half down if it is short brushed back away from the face
Reply:how about a nice skirt, not one that is to short, and a pretty cami with a cardigan over it.(small sweater). and maybe you could wear your hair like half up and half down and tied in the back with a clip. i think that would look really pretty.
Reply:i had to do a formal presentation in college..
we wore navy skirts, and blue long sleeved buttoned shirts.
and pump shoes *or whatever they call them*.
as for the hair.. wear it in a bun..

Why are people so obsessed with big things like houses, cars, boats and lot's and lot's of clothing?
my house can fit into a bathroom of some of these houses i see upper middle class people have. it makes no sense to me why they have to have things like this when they could just build them a moderately sized house and three others like it for someone less fortunate, they have 30 pairs of shoes when there are so many who have to wear the same pair for three years. will someone give me a legitamate answer?
Why are people so obsessed with big things like houses, cars, boats and lot's and lot's of clothing?
I am not one of those people myself but I would assume that some people need this to feel good about themselves. If they were raised having these things then it would just seem normal to them.
Reply:Most people desire success because it provides material comfort. If having wealth didn't allow people to have nicer things, why wouuld anyone bother with it?
Reply:They think it makes their lives better and they also see other people doing it. If a CEO of a corporation is buying the most expensive boat then everybody is talking about it and everbody else wants to be like them.
It's called afffluenza or materialism. It's not really a crime to own a lot because everbody has different opinions on what to do with their money.
They just want to be the talk of the town or feel sucessful and powerful.
Some people buy boats because they love sailing or fishing and it actually is a lot of fun to do that sort of thing.

Please Rate my story and tell me how I can improve!!!!?
"My eyes opened and I realized I was resting on a soft bed. I was covered with a soft baby blue blanket. The birds chirped rhythmically, and the sunlight reflected from the window adjacent from the bed was hurting my eyes. I squinted as I looked upon it, but it really didn't help relieve the pain at all. The pain felt as if I was looking directly at a flashlight. I could easily tell the time of day was morning. I sat up looked around the bedroom, the walls were painted pink, the drawers and bookshelves standing opposite of the window were just as blue as the blanket that I had just pulled off. The room was unfamiliar to me. I wondered how I got here. I could not recall anything that occurred before this present point, nothing at all.
I got out of bed and there was a sound coming from the polished wooden floor. I looked down and saw a silver heart shaped pendant bonded with thin silver chains. I bent over and picked up the locket. It was the size of my thumb, and it shined like precious diamonds in the sunlight behind me. I turned the heart shaped locket and saw a small clasp. I opened the locket and saw a photo of a young woman on the left who seemed to be wearing a purple dress robe. Next to her on the right was a little girl, wearing similar clothing except she wore pink instead of purple. Both of them had long black hair and they were smiling at each other. I glanced at the little girl again, and although the child seemed so cute, she also seemed very familiar. There was a mirror next to the door in between the drawer and the bookshelves. I saw my own reflection in the mirror. I realized that I had black hair just like the two people in the photo, wearing a white T-Shirt and white shorts. I also saw in the mirror that I had no shoes on. Then I looked at the little girl in the picture again. That little girl’s face and hair are somewhat similar to mine. On the left side of the locket I saw a something printed on the silver metal. The upper left corners of the heart locket were two letters engraved “L.R” printed on small letters and in the middle of the heart, there was date carved into the locket that said:
20 December 1995
The date on the locket caught my attention. I wondered why the date was even printed there. What happened on that day? Why was it so significant? I also wondered who the young woman is in the photo, and if I was the little girl in the photo. There was a knock on the door, and I almost jumped when I heard it. I watched the door, and remained alert, until seconds later, the door opened. The one who knocked on the door was a young woman, wearing a white dress and I also noticed a white apron she was wearing that seemed to blend in. Her rectangular glasses were completely crooked, it looks as if it was about to fall off her face. Her face was completely dirty, and her crimson hair looked as if it were never brushed for weeks perhaps months. Her emerald eyes came into contact with mine, and said to me in a somewhat timid voice.
“Hello, you’re awake”
I continued to stare at her, and said nothing.
“What’s your name?” said the woman, smiling lightly “My name is Solana Frosty.”
Unfortunately I didn’t have an answer to that question. I felt pretty stupid not knowing my own name, so I remained silent and continued to gaze at her.
“Um, you don’t talk much do you?” said Solana, timidly. “My daughter Aiyana found you in the forest out cold so we took you in our home and we kept you warm and placed you in her room. Um….. Are you feeling okay?”
I nodded lightly, and whispered.
“Yes”
“I’m glad to hear it!” said Solana, smiling brightly. “Come downstairs, I made some breakfast. When you finished eating we can call your parents. How old are you by the way?”
“T-Tw-Twelve” I answered a little unsure of myself.
“Oh that’s great!” Said Solana insecurely “Aiyana is just about you age- Well, perhaps. She’ll be turning twelve in a few days, so I’m sure you two would get along just fine. Now please come downstairs for some breakfast. I didn’t expect you to be awake at this time. After breakfast we’ll call your parents, they must be worried sick about you. So we’ll just let them know that you’re okay”
Solana turned around and left. Seconds later, I got up off the floor, where I was sitting, left the room and went down the stairs. After I reached the first floor, I heard a voice calling to me.
“Hey, come over here! Come in the kitchen”
I turned to where the voice is coming from. It was Solana and another girl who had long scarlet hair just like Solana’s in a kitchen. I walked inside the kitchen where the girl sat at a circular wooden table that was near a corner of the kitchen. The table had a large plate with a layer of pancakes on a plate and a bottle of maple syrup sitting there. I gagged at the odor of burnt food. The sink next to me was piled with dirty dishes. There were shards of broken glass on the white tile floors. I almost stepped on them, while I was still barefoot. Solana was near an oven holding a silver metal spatula, jumping and shrieking hysterically trying to put out the flames that bloomed from the stove just a second ago. I sat at the table where the girl sat. I gazed at her for a moment. The girl looked back at me and grinned.
“Oh hello,” She said quickly, “Don’t mind my Mom, she’s very clumsy when it comes to housekeeping. As you can see, she’s not always the best cook. Although she’s very clumsy and careless, she has her moments. She’s only like this when she’s stressed out. It’s very typical for adults. Other than that she’s a great cook. Oh, I’m so sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Aiyana.”
Aiyana reached out her right hand towards me.
I looked at her hand. I wondered what she made that gesture for. I continued to stare at it.
“What’s your name” She asked.
My eyes were drawn from her hand to her face. It’s that question again. I was gnawing my bottom lip, trying hard to remember, but it was impossible. I gave Aiyana a light shrug. Aiyana frowned.
“I tried asking her the same thing,” said Solana finally finished extinguishing the flames on the stove, “but she wouldn’t tell me. She must be shy, let’s give her some time to relax a bit. Aiyana pumpkin, go to the living room and find the phone. I think it’s time we call her parents. And turn on the computer on your way back here, and look up something on missing children”
Aiyana looked at her mother and nodded. She got up off her chair and left the kitchen. Now my attention is drawn to Solana, who smiled at me, placed some pancakes on the plate in front of me and said,
“Please eat some pancakes, they’re really tasty. I don’t want you to go hungry. I’ll give you a fork and a glass of orange juice.”
Solana handed me a silver metal fork. She also grasped the bottle of maple syrup and poured its sticky brown contents on the plate of pancakes. I looked down to examine them.
“Hmm,” said Solana. “It seems that you have never tasted pancakes before. Just cut a piece off and eat it.”
I looked up at Solana once more, remembering what Aiyana told me earlier, that she isn’t always the best cook. I assumed that these pancakes of hers would not taste very pleasant. I thought of Solana as a very kind person and the last thing I wanted to do is offend her. With my assumption set aside, I grabbed the fork. I cut off a piece of the pancake and placed it into my open mouth. I chewed slowly to. The food was soft and tasted sugary. While eating it I had this pleasant feeling, I assumed that the pancakes would taste horrible, but it was the opposite. I looked up at Solana again and smiled. Solana smiled back at me.
“I’m glad you like it” She said sweetly. “Would you like some orange juice? You’ll like this one, very natural.
Solana went to the refrigerator at the other side of the kitchen. She opened the door on the right. Reached in and pulled out a pitcher of some kind of yellowish substance, then she closed the door and placed the pitcher on the counter. She reached for the cupboard next to refrigerator for a clear glass cup. She took a cup from the cupboard and placed it on the counter as well. She poured the orange juice from the pitcher into the glass cup, and handed it to me. I looked into the cup of orange juice and saw something lumpy, there seems to be some foreign material inside.
“Oh don’t worry about the stuff in there,” said Solana sweetly “That’s just the pulp, dear. It’s natural orange juice. The pulp happens to be very healthy. Go on just drink it!”
I took a small sip of orange juice, despite the uncomfortable pulp rushing into my lips. It tasted pretty good.
Aiyana has just arrived in the kitchen holding a white cordless phone and handed it to me. I looked down at the phone, then who looked up at Solana, who nodded. I looked down at the phone again and pushed the green call button. There was a loud dial tone. I remained still trying to decide what button to press. The left side of my head ached. Random thoughts swirled into my head. I shut off the phone and placed it on the table. Aiyana and Solana exchanged looks, and then looked at me again.
“Erm…” said Solana nervously, “You don’t know your parents’ phone number?”
I shook my head lightly. Solana frowned.
“Um… okay” she said, “What about parent last name?”
I shrugged. Solana sighed.
“Wow,” said Aiyana, quickly, “you must not remember anything at all. Mom I think she has amnesia”
I looked down at my feet and sighed. My entire face contracted and I clenched my fists firmly as if I was squeezing something. I took three slow deep breaths. Solana kneeled down next to me. I looked at her then she smiled sweetly.
“Oh, No worries,” She said kindheartedly, “you will get you memories back soon. You can stay with us if you’d like, if it’s okay with Aiyana, you can sleep in her room. Aiyana, take this girl to the office upstairs. You are going to the missing child registry. You are not to go on any other site. We are doing this to help her find her parents and pick up any information about her., not shop for “cute boys” on the internet. Do I make myself clear, young lady?”
Aiyana’s face turned red.

I've been disturbed about how we celebrate the 4 of July!!?
Today ,a t the company that I work for,we had a dinner served to us by the upper management. What disturbed me was that they wore red white and blue sparkle vest, and big floppy Uncle Sam top hats, and ,of all things, a red white and blue feather boa!! All I could think is "Are we celebrating a national holliday with clowns???" To say the least, I lost any and all of my appitite when I saw that! So tell me, what would you have done in my shoes? I left the area very mad but saying nothing. Would you have done the same or would you say or do something??
I've been disturbed about how we celebrate the 4 of July!!?
I do not like any clothing that looks like the flag, I think it is demeaning. My wife wore a white blouse, blue Capri's, and a red scarf. Honoring the colors but not abusing the flag pattern. I hate when they (anyone) belittles our flag, don;t even ask me how I feel about the bast-- ds who burn our flag.
Reply:Just a note, I think in reality most people are against the unflattering use of our flag, regardless of what the results here show. Report It
Reply:Sounds to me like your a flag hugger. Flag huggers are known to have absolutely no sense of humor when it comes to anything about their country, even when it just comes around to jokingly dressing up like Uncle Sam. Some Flag huggers sometimes, hate somebody or dont like somebody else because they're from another race or color. If this describes you, you are most likely a flag hugger. If this does not, you just have NO sense of humor and probably not that many friends. I love the U.S., but im not gonna get mad like a little spoiled kid and storm out a room because theyre joking, dressing extremely patriotic. You lost your appetite?! You sound pretty gay. You sound really gay!
Reply:Get over yourself. The 4th is a day of celebration. You will have to expect people to dress in funny clothes and such, that does not neccessarily mean that they are disrespecting the memory of the 4th. They were simply trying to show their pride in different ways.

btw people with today being the fourth lets try and celebrate freedom. Everyone in America deserves to be free even gay people. So leave them alone.
Reply:I would have been grateful for the free food, and happy that my upper management actually acknowledged our holiday.

If you can't laugh at things like that then you need to reevaluate the way you look at things.
I think I may run out and get my husband an outfit just like the one you described to wear to serve me breakfast in bed tomorrow.

It was just the colors we all were red, white and blue at sometime. dont take things so hard . You seem to be under a lot of stress.
Reply:What was on the menu? I think you were a little too sensitive and as long as they weren't using the flag as table clothes or shirts or skirts it was just red white and blue articles. I too had a major problem with all the what I perceived fake American pride after 911, and it drove me nuts to see all the crap with our colors on it. Over time it stopped, but I also realized that even though it appears foolish to me, everyone has their own way of showing their nations pride. I hope you hid your anger.
Reply:I don't see what the big deal is... Everywhere you go and see its red, white %26amp; blue around this time of year...It's been like that ever since I can remember.

So what? I dress up in a costume for Halloween and wear it to work too. I wear Christmas sweaters, shirts and jewelry to work near the holiday as well. Does this make me look clownish? To some people.....maybe...but you know what? I don't care. I do it because I'm enjoying the holiday and celebrating it and it's fun for me!
I say ignore it....I see things that people wear every day (not just for holidays) that are in bad taste and I ignore it....you should do the same!!
Reply:good point
Reply:I think you are over reacting. If I went to a Canada day party and there were people dressed as maple leafs, I would find it ammusing.
Reply:oh wow, why would i give a rats butt. why are you so sensitive? you must have ulcers if dumb things like that get you mad.
Reply:Wow! Are you SENSITIVE
Remind me not to invite you to any celebrations at my house
Reply:why do you hate America. i would have enjoyed the free eats and would have enjoyed being with friends.
Reply:Sounds like they were just trying to be patriotic. Sometimes upper management tries too hard. I would have enjoyed the free food and ignored the guys looking like idiots!
Reply:The U.S. being a conglomeration of various peoples, has no definite culture. This means that holidays don't "mean" anything, except to the individual, which then mostly translates as: Have fun! Eat/drink a lot!
"Freedom" now means, "I should get what I want."
I wouldn't expect 1 out of 10 people to reflect on the founding principles of this nation, or demonstrate respect to anything above their ego this 4th or any to come.
Reply:Why are you so uptight? Geesh, loosen up and have fun. For someone to get mad over someone dressing to celebrate and having a good time is just a tighta$$. Get a grip and smile a little!!!

I don't know what colors go with my PROM DRESS!!??
i'm a freshman who's going to prom with a group of my friends who are upper classmen (some lower classmen are going too)... Us freshman and sophmores decided to not to go all out for our dresses (it's not even OUR prom), so i want to get some truly spectacular (but NOT pricey) shoes and jewelry
anyway, i'm wearing a black-and-white polka dotted halter dress that about knee lengh ( this looks kinda like it: http://www.divavillage.com/images/produc... )... and i was thinking of pairing it with light ice blue shoes and accesories.
so... do you think a light ice blue color (like this: http://images.replacements.com/images/im... ) would look good with the dress? if not, what colors do you think WOULD look good?
p.s. a lot of people have told me red would look good, but red seems too vampy...
thanks for your help!
I don't know what colors go with my PROM DRESS!!??
Dress looks very retro to me so why not go all the way with black round toe, mid- heeled shoes with white add-on bows? I think you need a stronger color than ice-blue though, if you are afraid of the 50's theme. Have fun.
Reply:i would wear like a really light pink color shoes
maybe like this color pink:
http://www.snowcrest.net/cafemocha/image...
the pink polka dots or the purple backround.... either color would look good!
Reply:the dress is so cute but light ice blue will not go with the dress
you are right red is a little too vampy so go with silver or white :)
Reply:I dont think the ice blue shoes would look good. You're right about the red shoes so I think you should wear black heels.
Reply:No, not blue, go white, or the best would be silver! Here's a site, that's so cheap for them! Good luck, I hope I helped!
http://www.claires.com/index.asp
Or, you could go to a jewerly store, and get stuff! Good luck! Hope I helped!
Reply:umm i think a light color or a very very liht color will look good!
I like your picture it is so pretty!!
Reply:Red would be really cool but being quite the matcher myself, I would probably go with black shoes, pearl accessories. It's simple without standing out too much, and that's what you said you wanted to do because it's not your prom. I'm going as a freshman too, it definatly was hard choosing a dress that wasn't too, you know... Hope I gave you some helpful advice. Have an amazing time at your prom!
Reply:Love the dress! Any color goes well with black or white, so if you want ice blue shoes, etc., go for it!
That said, a 'neutral' color such as gold, silver, white or black would go with many future formal dresses.

Theres somthing weird in criss angels levitation to one building to another?
http://youtube.com/watch?v=QtQAIovnMwI
First of all, stop it at 2:20, do you see somthing on the building like another person.
Now stop it at 2:32, look in front of him, there is someone that looks exactly like him in the same position.
also,
this is amazing, but its a well made illusion which i see come to play. look carefully from 1:00-1:17. You notice that black wire on the platform and i think that plays some significance in this. Notice how he looks down at his shoes to perhaps see if he is placing his feet at the right place to get on something, not sure what. towards 1:15, the camera moves to the upper half of his body, its prolly hiding something there.
Look if you see at the beginninng he "stretches" his feet like getting on a wire, then there is a susppicious man on the bottom with a camera "filming" but DO you ever SEE the filming from the bottom? and then at the end he gets off the wire by landing on his toes and then putting downn his ankle.
Theres somthing weird in criss angels levitation to one building to another?
to start with-there is always something weird about chris angel. that's a given. we all know he's not levitating. i did see something that could be another person on the building but it doesn't matter.it's fun.
Reply:you are the mindfreak
Reply:Well we know it's not real, that's a given. I think too many people are gullible enough to believe this guy can levitate, and he counts on that.
When he takes off, his heels go up first then he raises his toes so that his feet are level, indicating he was lifted up.
The guy on the ground is walking backwards directly under Chris. It's not like he stays in one spot and watches, he actually follows along with Chris like keeping an eye on something.
At 3:13 in, during the replay, Chris's legs are crossed at his ankles. But at no point during the levitation are his ankles crossed. I suspect the shot of him in the air with ankles crossed is from filming a rehearsal.

My feet hurt from my shoes. suggestions?
I bought two new pairs of flats and they were fine when i walked around in them in the store, but when i wear them around, they cause major sores on my upper heal. How can I help prevent or treat them so they won't hurt when i wear them. There is no way i'm gonna take them back cuz they're so cute. Does this happen to any one else with your flats? If so, how do you deal with it?
My feet hurt from my shoes. suggestions?
put a bandaid on the spots that the shoe hurts.
Reply:happened to me all you have to do is get used to them more
Reply:stop wearing them.
Reply:Yeah, you can either put band-aids on the spots or go get a "heel cup". It's a little plastic cup that goes on the inside of your shoe and it takes the pain away!!! (And if you can't find one then you should go see a foot doctor.)
Reply:put something here where thr cut is
also i may need a bigger size
Reply:I don't wear those shoes, but I see a lot of people wearing band-aids on their upper heels when wearing flats.
Reply:i wear flats alll the time and they dont hurt me and i didnt have to get used to them either but randomly one day the back of my heel got red and skin started peeling so i wore socks with them for 1 or 2 days and started wearing them again bc the pain went away band aids work but you only need to wear them once in a while and i felt the same way when they started hurting i didnt want to take them back bc they were cute lol

Does he mean it?
So me and this guy are friends and i secretly like him. Yesterday he sat in the front of the classroom watching a movie with this girl.(Hes alwys wrestling with all the girls in the class). So anyways, after the movie he comes back 2 his original seat, which is to the upper right of my desk.he taps my shoes and mouths-i love you. Then he keeps saying it over and over again.Hes always tickling me and my friend lisa all the time,so i take it as one of his games.im all like "yeah right" and" i dont love you". And hes saying that me saying no means the opposite(by no im meaning yes).Well hes saying it still, and im like mayb he really likes me this tme. bt after class he walks out, with no hug or bye. does he like me? what can i do to find out, BESIDES ask him?PLEASE help me;Ive been lifted over this guy for 6 months now,and maybe this is it.
Does he mean it?
I don't mean to be blunt, but he kind of sounds like the kind of guy who likes ALL the girls. I had a thing for a guy just like him, and he ended up being so not worth it.
Maybe your guy is different, though. I have to say, though, with as flirtatious as he is, about the only way you're going to get a straight answer is to ask him. Next time he pulls the whole "I love you" thing, straight out ask him why he doesn't ask you out, then.
I wish you luck. I liked way too many guys like him. They break your heart....
Reply:okay... i have been in that same spot... the guy flirts up and down with you... but he'll leave you with out notice.. watch him very carefully... does he flirt with other girls? or just you? i used to like this one guy and he and i went out.. big mistake.. he only liked girls for big butts and boobs.. just be careful. make sure he likes you for you. and notice how he acts towards other girls.. a lota guy with flirt with other girls but its hard to see... but sometimes he only sees you.. you'll know if hes "right" becuz you can feel it.. not just feeling u want him sooo bad.. but feeling a connection.. u know? good luck.. hope this helps...
Reply:nah hes just a player or a tease jus to arrouse
Reply:don't go for it. he could be mouthing 'elephant shoe' or "i lick poo" or "elephant doo". theres lots of things that look like i love you. if he really really means it, he'll take you aside or say it when nobody except you is listening. trust me... don't go gung ho on it... you'l get your heart broken. Just see what progresses next.
Reply:hmm.. seems liike he does have an interest in you, then again it also seems to me as if he's just a very flirtatious person. Keep an eye on him if he treats you differently than other girls despite the fact that he's a flirt, then I'd say yes he likes you :]
Reply:hes probably a tease, he probably tells other girls he loves them
Reply:I don't think he seriously likes you because I have a friend just like this guy and he is always sarcastic and silly. When he says "I love you", he doesn't REALLY mean he actually loves you, he's playing around or he means he loves you as a friend. However, if your really into finding out, find some friends of his that you trust and ask them to ask him if he likes you.
Reply:i would have to say no
he may be just trying to score
he sound like a jerk. there were guys in my school and this was their game... to see who could hit up the most girls
respect yourself and ignore him
Reply:Maybe he does. or maybe he doesn't and wants to BANG you. or maybe he's just toying with you by mouthing OLIVE JUICE or something like it... Best thing would be is to ask him before he changes his mind.

Foot tattoo.?
i have a job that requires i wear running shoes. no flip flops allowed. well, i got a tattoo on my foot a week ago and my boss says i need to come into work ASAP. my tattoo is medium sized, it starts on my upper foot and ends about half an inch before my toes. I was thinking tomorrow of going back to work tomorrow. How long before i can wear shoes?
btw.
anyone know any good sites for tatt ideas?
thanks in advance!
Foot tattoo.?
Just don't tie the shoe on that foot tight and only wear white socks. Take off the shoe and sock as often as you can and make sure you keep it clean. It should heal up just fine then.
As for a tattoo sites, I personally like:
http://www.tattoofinder.com/default.asp
Reply:You should be able to wear shoes with it. Just dont tie them very tight. But call the tattoo place and ask them what they say.
Reply:wear a pair of steel capped boots or Reebok pumps or Air Jordons with sox ....good luck
Email at tattoo@wickedink.com.au
Reply:i didn't wear shoes on either of my tattooed feet for the entire two weeks needed for healing. i have seen pictures of tattoos that look odd after having worn shoes and socks. maybe it didn't have anything to do with that... but maybe it did. i wouldn't risk it but it's your tattoo.
Reply:I got both feet tattooed a few months back and wore shoes and socks whenever I needed too. Just took them off as soon as I could and kept the tattoo clean, used lotion (I use bepanthen) to make sure it didn't dry out. It healed exactly the same as all my other tattooes and looks perfect. If you take care of it you should be fine. If you're worried, ask your artist what he/she thinks.

Hi all. I have had chest pain for over a year, mainly under left shoulder, very sever. can anyone help.?
I have had x-rays and ecgs etc several times but always found nothing wrong. Heart, lungs and other areas show no sign of any trouble. Pain is irregular and not related to anythig that I do and it can show up any time, anywhere in the chest, upper arms, left leg and buttock. Recently I feel its affecting my head. Sometimes I cannot concentrate and feel difficult to keep my head straight. Also feet stay worm mostly and sometimes I have to take my shoes. Generaly feel hot/worm.
My GP gives me paracetamol, ibuprofen or similar, which does not always work.
Any Medical expert with any suggestions?
Thank you.
Hi all. I have had chest pain for over a year, mainly under left shoulder, very sever. can anyone help.?
I am no medical specialist but from your description, you have gone through all the necessary tests but show no sign of any symptoms.
Perhaps, it could be due to stress, over-straining of the muscles which might cause such symptoms.
The question is how many times have you seen this GP who prescribed you the medications?
If it's the 1st time, then I would suggest that you consult him again. However, if the GP in his medical expertise feels that there's nothing wrong with you and if you are still concern, consult another GP for 2nd opinion.
By so doing will ease your concern about the symptoms that you are experiencing.
Reply:PLEASE!!! go to a heart surgeon and get yourself checked thoroughly. ECG is not the ultimate test for identifying heart related problems. ECG mostly indicates heart trouble only if you get it done while you are experiencing the pain, otherwise it will be normal. There are other tests which can identify problems like blood clots etc, Angiography may be needed to properly identify the problem. Please take chest pain very seriously and if it is severe like you say immediately have heart problem ruled out by seeing a heart surgeon.
Reply:Dunno man, but its warm not worm! !
Reply:Sounds like a neurologist is who you should speak to, nerve pain can act as you've described. Regular pain medication will not affect nerve damage. You need certain nerve inhibitors.
Reply:Do a search on "costiochondritis" on the internet. You could have this. I'm not an expert, but my sis has/had this and had similar symptoms. Sometimes she was sure she was having a heart attack as the pain was so severe, but after tests, determined that it's not a heart condition and probably only the above. She also has severe headaches. good luck to you!
Reply:My brother had similar pain in his chest area with no real explanation for a period of time but they finally figured out that he was experiencing anxiety and it was making him tighten small muscle groups until it hurt like he was having a heart attack. They dealt with anxiety and the pain has gone away.
Reply:Have you had an EKG done on the neck? It will show things that xrays wont such as disc problems (which do seem to effect the whole body randomly except for the Neck)!

Scotland in the middle ages?
I'm going to A renaissance festival as A Highlander. I need to know how they dressed.
Not the upper crust but the peasant warrior and his winch. even down to their shoes.
If anyone could tell me were to go online to pull this up that would be cool.

I need help here, my fiances cousin is supposed to be my junior bridesmaid, her mom and his mom saw the dress?
back in january and now after the other girls have ordered their dresses, they now say they don't want to pay for that dress for her, because she will only wear it once, its a dress that can be cut off and be worn again. they are trying to tell me that they will not get the dress at the price because she has growth spruts in the summer, and the shop told me it can be ordered with extra length. i bend over backwards to please his family but i want all the girls in the same and i feel his folks could help if its a money issue since they are not helping pay for the wedding.they are now trying to tell me that they want me to find a different dress that her shoes should be black and not silver like the others and are telling me what to do.
help me here what can i do to regain the upper hand with out being insulting because it hurts me that its their way or no way
I need help here, my fiances cousin is supposed to be my junior bridesmaid, her mom and his mom saw the dress?
Oh wow how selfish are they!!
I would suggest that they either respect your wishes or they are going to be letting HER down as you will not alter your plans now, especially after they have been ordered.
If it comes down to it, you might have to find a way to pay for it yourselves %26amp; have her pay you back when she can or find another bridesmaid. thats not an easy option Im sure but her family need to realise that thats whats going to happen if they dont support your ideas.
You just gain the upper hand by standing strong %26amp; not allowing anyone to dictate to you how your wedding will pan out. Try %26amp; come up with alternatives to paying for it, especially if you are not willing to change anything...and so you shouldnt.
Compromise on the price if thats the issue. As for the shoes, honestly, tell them it is not an option for her to wear different ones. Ask them to imagine how outof place the girl is going to feel if she has to look completely different to the rest of the bridesmaids simply because her family refused to see past their own selves.
best of luck %26amp; congrats on the wedding ;o)
Reply:If she is going to be in the bridal party, it would be their responsibility to pay for the clothing.
Also, traditionally, a "Junior Bridesmaid" does not wear the same dress as the bridesmaids. They are typically plainer, complimenting the bridesmaids dresses, but generally are not very expensive and frilly.
Reply:Politely explain to her parents (or have your fiance do it) that you don't think it's fair for you to foot the bill for the junior bridesmaid. Black shoes are much more likely to be worn again than silver ones - you have pragmatism on your side here. Calmly explain that your vision of the wedding involves your bridesmaids looking wonderful in the same style dress. Try to explain why you want to do things they way you do.
As for the adults bossing you around, you can try to ask for their suggestions in other areas that you're more flexible about and/or that they have expertise. They may not feel as included as they feel they "should."
Try to keep in mind that weddings are stressful (well duh) for everyone involved. Be as patient and understanding as you can - you're off to a great start!
If all else fails, are you willing to cut the cousin from the wedding party? Which is more important to you? What does your fiance think about all this? If you have a bridesmaid you can confide in, I'm sure she could help.
One thing I don't recommend is adopting the Bridezilla attitude - that won't get you what you want or make you any friends. EDIT: You didn't sound like a Bridezilla at all - you sound very kind! I would hate to see another nice person go to the "dark side," as it were.
You seem like a very sweet person; it's sad that weddings can turn people a little crazy. Good luck to you and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!
Yikes, I hope you get this mess resolved soon!
Reply:EXPLAIN TO THE DRESSMAKER YOUR PROBLEM. MAYBE SHE CAN HAVE YOUR FUTURE MOTHER-IN-LAW,FUTURE AUNT AND THE JUNIOR BRIDES MAID IN FOR A FITTING AND EXPLAIN TO THEM ABOUT THE DRESS AND SHOES.
Reply:first you need to let EVERYONE know it is your wedding and that it will go your way and if they don't agree the can just sit quietly and watch. and then you need to talk to your fiance cause he needs to be the one to stop his family from walking over you and if he cant may be you two need some type of counseling cause if hes not going to take up for you with his family there might be other situations hell do the same. also you need to stop your family from walking over you.
Reply:I would just tell them your sorry but thats what all the other girls are wearing and if they dont want to buy her the dress and shoes then your sorry but she cant be in the wedding. why should she get special treatment over the other girls? I'm not one to say they who "its your wedding and you should have things they way you want them" and blah bla blah, but in this case, they are just making excuses. no matter what dress you pick...if she has growth spirts then she has growth spirts. and if this dress can be cut then there is no problem with it not being used again (not to mention most bm dresses arent worn again) and whats the problem with silver shoes? if they want her in the wedding then they can buy her the clothes or have her just be a guest. dont let family run your wedding plans for you. dont be afraid to stand up to those who try. good luck and congrats!
Reply:Then tell your to-be cousin that her parents don't want to pay for the dress, then unfortunately she will not be able to stand up for the wedding. It just wouldn't be fair to make the other bride's maids pay for their dresses, and you'd pay for hers. Simply put, you have to be fair to the other bride's maids. Nothing you can do, it's up to her parents.
Inform the 'other women' that this is your wedding, and you simply will not compromise. There are years and years of compromise to come...until those marriage years start, you don't have to. PERIOD.
Reply:You should tell them that the girl must wear the dress that you have choosen and the shoes. If they still refuse, pay for it. If it is that important to you, then you will find some way to make it happen. Remeber: it's your wedding!
Reply:tell them that you just can't afford to pay for the dress yourself, and you don't want to have a conflicting dress in the ceremony, so unfortunately if they don't pay for the dress then the cousin can't be in the wedding
Reply:Is you fiance supportive? The bride gets to make the decisions. If they don't want her to be in the wedding, then you will accept their decision. If they do, then that's the dress with silver shoes. And you probably won't wear your dress
again either. ( My MIL didn't like having to wear a long dress for our wedding, but she did when I didn't back down. Same reason, she wouldn't wear it again. Complained to my mom who said none of us would. Go Mom!)
Reply:It is your wedding. If he is not able to stand up to these people now what will future events be like? Keep all of this in mind, and talk with him about it becoming such an issue. I would not pay for her dress. I would explain to these people that the requirements for MY wedding are this dress and shoes. Explain to them that you will not be offended at all if they would like to withdraw her if money is an issue for them. (put the ball in their court) Let them think you have realized it may be a hardship for them. If that is the case it will give them a chance to bow out. If they are just doing it to be difficult, then they will either feel bad or pitch a fit, if the fit happens then tell them to keep the peace you have replaced the daughter to keep down the tension. That due to all the issues everyone was having you decided to easy the tension and ask a back up person. That you appriciate all that everyone feels, but with the date closely approaching, you had to do something. To keep peace, you made the exective call to replace and let everyone be happy. I would also keep in mind, and let him know, that if he is not able to support you now, then you might want to think about that one reallly close.
Reply:Since they originally agreed on the dress they should stick with it and the same goes with the shoes. I think you should tell them this is your wedding and you were trying to include his family as well and if she is going to be in the wedding she will have to wear that dress as the other women have already ordered their dresses. If they refuse to then tell them she will no longer be in the wedding. If you dont take a stand now and let your future mother-in-law know that she does not make the decisions, this will continue throughout your marriage. Tell your fiance that what his mom and cousin are doing is wrong and that you expect him to support you.
Reply:Say, I'm sorry but I do not have the energy to accomdate your requests , her having a different dress or shoes will totally spoil my day for me. She canniot be in the wedding.
Reply:first, you should talk to your fiance. he should be siding with you and not letting his family walk all over you. second, you should clearly let them know that this is YOUR wedding. be nice about it, but be firm and don't back down. if they refuse to give in, politely suggest an alternitive role for her. this is your wedding, you don't want to insult anyone, but by not following with your wishes, they are insulting you.
Reply:It sounds like to me that they are just trying to get out of the wedding. Why else would they wait till now to tell you they don't want to pay for the dress and now they don't like the color!? If I were you I would tell them that if they want her in the wedding then she has to wear the dress you picked out, period. If they want to fuss about it then don't let her be in it. It's their choice, by the dress or don't be in the wedding. It is your wedding! You just tell them to accept it or stand aside.
Reply:Is there a way for you to buy the dress for her, with the understanding that after the wedding the dress is your property, then put it on EBay and try to get some of that money back...that way she could still be in the wedding, they are not "stuck" with a dress she'll only wear once. Not sure about the shoes, I'm clueless when it comes to what looks good with what.
As for you feeling you are being over-run, thank them very politely for their input and that you will put it to consideration. Just know you are marrying into this family you are not only marrying the guy you're getting his family also, it's a package deal. They may not even realize how their comments are hurtful unless you say something to them. (I do it all the time, say something seemingly innocent to me, but it hurtful to the other person)
Good Luck, keep your chin up, it'll get better..go to your "happy place" (you and your guy alone on the honeymoon!)
Reply:It's your wedding. If her parents want her in the wedding they'll pay for the dress. If not, replace her with your apologies to her. As for your fiance, if he can't stand up for you now, what will happen when you are married. Sit down with all involved parties and tell them what you expect, if they can't abide with your wishes (as long s you are being reasonable), then exclude them from the planning process. The day is about you and your spouse to be. Not them.

Dog questions?
1.my female 7 mon old chihuahua has this weird red patch on the upper side of her stomach.what is it and how do it get rid of it
2.my chihuahua does destructive behavior like chewing on shoes, and scratching on the carpet how do i stop it
3.how much does it cause to get you carpet repair from my dog scratching it
4.my chihuahua has purple under her vulva what is it
Dog questions?
Put a penny in an aluminum can..then put shoes where she will find them..Each time she chews or dogs, shake the can loudly..No need to say anything..
the patch on her side could be from a number if things, so only a vet could tell you what it is..It could be an allergy, or it could be a fungus or a mite..
I wouldn't know about the 'purple' unless she is coming in heat and beginning to swell..
Reply:1. take your dog to a vet if you have this many questions
2. each time you see her start to do something bad pull her back and tell her stop or no and sit there with her to correct her every time she tries to do it again, constantly re enforcing her not to will make her get the picture

Back Pain ..What would you do?
I have been having Horrible Upper Back pain for about 2 weeks now and today my OB doctor said i was fine. (He just touched my back and thats it.) It really feels like something more. I just moved to a new city so i dont have a family practitioner or anything yet. But i think it could be something more serious, It even hurts to breath.Sometimes it hurts i cry and for me it better be severe pain for me to cry over. What would you do if in my shoes?
Back Pain ..What would you do?
You need to see a doctor for several reasons. You are in pain and being pregnant rearranges your insides sorta to make room for the baby. It is possible it is pushing hard enough on your spine so that the vertebrae are pushing on nerves. Or you could have pulled a muscle in your back. You need to see a doctor to make sure you and your baby are find and to see what pain medication you can take if you are in a lot of pain. I hope you feel better soon!!
Reply:I would see a chiropractor. See one that specializes or knows how to help pregnant women. I was told to go to one b/c I was having back pain. Stupid me- didn't go. Didn't have any extra money at the time to go. I've heard it does wonders though. Or a pregnancy massage.
If that doesn't work - please go to another dr or the hospital.
Reply:Go to an emergency room. Use motrin- 800 mg and try hot packs and cold packs. I dont think the person you saw was a good Dr. You should be on some kind of muscle relaxer like FLEXERIL
Reply:It could be a number of things.
* the baby could be pressing against a nerve or bone that is causing this pain. If so you can try to get it to move and work on another spot for a while.
* It could be a problem with your spine that was not identified before your pregnancy. There is not alot to do but knowledge will give you a little peace and relieve your worrying.
* Depending on how far along you are; it could be back labor. I had the pleasure of this kind of labor and yes it does hurt. Ask for drugs. lol
* Get a second opinion. Sometimes doctors are not as good at listening as they are at collecting their pay checks.
Good luck.
Reply:It's totally normal for your back to be hurting...you're pregnant. But maybe did you lift something you shouldn't have? Or sleep a bad way? The only advice I can give you is use heating pads and take Tylenol untl you're baby comes out. If it still hurts after the baby is born, see a Chiropractor.
Reply:If the pain radiates from the area it could be a nerve issue but I doubt that. It could be ligament damage or many other problems.
You need to go to a doctor who will prescribe tests to zero in on your problem.
Good luck.
Reply:cyro practer get a massive massage from a professional and although these are expensive... get a stress relief chair. they are designed to realease tension out of your body. my dad his back is a massive pretzel but the chair really helps he says i got him one for his birthday there about 700 - 800 dollars
Reply:Not getting pregnant would be an option.....
Just kidding.....God bless!
Reply:i would go to the hospital or get a physiotherapist to have a look
Reply:That is weird. Get someone to give you a good rub. If that doesn't relax the muscles ... assuming that the muscles feel tight ... then see if there is a walk-in clinic in your area. Maybe they can help.
And, congrats on the baby!
Reply:Exercise is a great muscle relaxer... stretch long before and after, in a week you'll be feeling much better.
Reply:try using a hot water bottle to ease the pain and call the jerk of a doctor and tell him something is definitely wrong. go to the ER if it gets so bad you can't breathe. if that other doctor won't do anything find another doctor.
Reply:Visit another Doctor and preferably a spine specialist. I am almost recovered from a Lower Back pain problem , a condition which almost crippled me about a year ago.
It all began in almost the same fashion as you describe yourself to be feeling and i went through the swallowing of pain killers and applying ointments to the affected area, all to no avail.
I was saved by an MRI Scan done and thereafter almost six moths of Physical(Physio)-Therapy.
Your case may be totally different, and i do hope so for your sake, However seeing a Consultant Spine Specialist Doctor may be beneficial in some way. Wish you full recovery.
Reply:If you can afford it, seeing a chiropractor when you are pregnant is a God send.

Undescribable Foot Pain?
I have a continous pain on the upper inside on both feet. It is not unbearable yet annoying. The pain I'm describing is located on the inside part of each foot. It is exactly about 1-11/2 inches from the sole of the foot going up. I've tried to look for information, but no luck. Does anyone have a similar pain? I use to wear some LUGZ about 3 years ago and I believe that they were the culprit. The shoes were kind of heavy and I believe they messed up a tendon or nerve. Any suggestions???

I dont know the medical term for it but it is similar to tendonitis in the wrist, you should see a podiatrist and get orthotics for you shoes, proper arch support is essential. If you cant go to the doc then try getting sport supports at your local pharmacy, off the shelf where the foot care products are.
good luck.
Reply:i have feet so flat the army could not find boots for me.
when i get that kind of pain, usually in the left foot, i need salt.
try using your thumbs on the pain, with one thumb start pressing hard on the pain. ease up the pain with your thumb an eighth of an inch at a time.
you will find spots that "hurt good" . when you find these, continue the pressure til the pain is nearly gone, then move up another eighth an inch. continue up the entire pain area, then start over if you need to.
you may find sympathetic response areas behind the knee, and around the achilles tendon
