I have a continous pain on the upper inside on both feet. It is not unbearable yet annoying. The pain I'm describing is located on the inside part of each foot. It is exactly about 1-11/2 inches from the sole of the foot going up. I've tried to look for information, but no luck. Does anyone have a similar pain? I use to wear some LUGZ about 3 years ago and I believe that they were the culprit. The shoes were kind of heavy and I believe they messed up a tendon or nerve. Any suggestions???
Undescribable Foot Pain?
I dont know the medical term for it but it is similar to tendonitis in the wrist, you should see a podiatrist and get orthotics for you shoes, proper arch support is essential. If you cant go to the doc then try getting sport supports at your local pharmacy, off the shelf where the foot care products are.
good luck.
Reply:i have feet so flat the army could not find boots for me.
when i get that kind of pain, usually in the left foot, i need salt.
try using your thumbs on the pain, with one thumb start pressing hard on the pain. ease up the pain with your thumb an eighth of an inch at a time.
you will find spots that "hurt good" . when you find these, continue the pressure til the pain is nearly gone, then move up another eighth an inch. continue up the entire pain area, then start over if you need to.
you may find sympathetic response areas behind the knee, and around the achilles tendon
