Septum piercing on a girl?

I want my septum pierced (like a bull). But I have short hair (just between shoulders and chin). Will I look like a guy? And will it draw attention to upper lip hair? Because I have dark hair so I dont want to make my lip hair noticeable.


After it's been done, is it possible to flip up straight away? (to hide it). And does it have to be pierced with a ring or can it be a horse shoe?


Whats the smallest size you can get them done in?

Personally I think septum piercings look better on girls.


If it does draw attention to your upper lip hair, you can try bleaching or waxing.


You can have it pierced, and have horseshoe put in immediately.


The smallest size I recommend is a 16g, if you go any smaller it's more likely to rip out.
Reply:i have my septum pierced and i love it. as for the lip hair you can always wax so that shouldnt be a big deal :D. and no you wont look like a guy..:) :)..also, the day i got it done i flipped it up straight away, and i got a horse shoe..ive never had a ring. im pretty sure its up to you if you want a horse shoe or a ring..and i believe that 18 is the smallest size. =] good luck!
