After a phone conversation with upper mgmt tomorrow I could be relocating to New York in a month! Such short notice but that is how things go sometimes. I have been to Manhattan several times but need help understanding the other areas. Where is the best place for a early 30 something gay male couple to move. I heard about Williamsburg or Astoria- are these decent areas? I am moving from San Francisco and really want a cute area, love having things at a arms reach and well close to the subway so I can get into Manhattan quick. I can't live in a shoe box, I have a cal king bed and need some space, what areas should we be best placed in?? Thanks in advance for your help!

Williamsburg or Astoria are fine as are Park Slope and Prospect Heights in Brooklyn and Jackson Heights in Queens. Come visit and check out several areas before you move.
Reply:Upper East side is the cutest..... if you are looking to save money go to Harlem sounds scary but there is a revival or go downtown to chelsea
or go to brooklyn in willamsburg or dumbo very hipster also in a revival
