Was I wrong? Honestly?

Ok, I was at the mall with my younger sister who's 22 and my youngest son.





I was in the line at Footlocker getting my son some new shoes and a couple of shirts as I was walking out of the store I noticed a woman slapping and hitting on her 3 month old baby. Everybody else were just staring and looking at her I was in utter shock, so I then went over their and told the woman to stop she replied with some explict comments so she went on smacking the baby I then grabbed her hand and pushed her down (accidently) she then got up and came and tried to attack me I kickbox so I connected to her face with a upper jab she tried to grab my hair but my sister and the sercurity guards then grabbed the woman and took her in of course I had to follow and give my witness information.





So was I wrong?


Nobody else stepped in and the guards were late as usual.

you were right to interfere but shoould have called security and the police ...to protect yourself.

Reply:Intervention was needed. You told her to stop but she didn't listen. Just stepping in like that is heroic enough. You had the confidence of also knowing the art of self defense, which most people don't have and therefore other people would be scared to get involved fearing retaliation. I think if anything good comes out of this it would be her parental skills now being checked up upon, and she may think twice about taking her anger out on a defenseless baby in the future.

Reply:you weren't wrong to say something but you were wrong to put your hands on this women and you should be arrested and charged for assault.
Reply:Hot... I wish I was there... nah, you wasn't wrong.. she shoulden't be hitting a 3 month old.. but then how would you konw exactly how old the baby was? you was guessing, so maybe you should have recored it on your cell phone, and handed it to the police... next time.
Reply:You were right for interfering with the woman abusing on her 3 month old, and if then the woman came and tried to attack you you're right for fighting back.





I can't find a wrong in this situation because you were doing a good deed in my opinion.





But be careful with kick boxing.
Reply:I would have done the same thing but the polite way to do that was to call mall security or police and told them what the lady was doing to her child instead of fighting in the mall.
