What kind of cement is used to glue rubber soles to shoes?

I have tried crazy glue but it didn't work. My shoes are leather uppers with rubber soles

What kind of cement is used to glue rubber soles to shoes?
Shoe goop, automotive goop, plumber's goop, most of the 'goop' series are so strong that they will remain even after the rest has fallen apart. I use it on my footwear steady, as it seems the manufacturers don't know about it.

The best five dollars you'll ever spend.
Reply:Shoe Goo.
Reply:Barge cement!
Reply:Go to the local auto parts store and get some automotive grade Goo. Use it according to the directions and your soles will stay put.
Reply:You can use, Appoxy, Shoe Glue, Gorilla Glue, or rubber cement.......just about anything strong and water tight.
Reply:There is a product called shoe goo made just for this problem. Check out www.shoegoo.com
Reply:Try some 3M contact cement....follow directions on can.
